Burton Hero: Best Mens Snowboards
The Burton Hero is a rockered freestyle snowboard similar to the Burton Joystick, only a little softer. This soft flex, coupled with rocker makes it ideal to learn on. Popping, flatland tricks (butters, manuals, ollies) and rails are easy with the flex and rocker. It is super forgiving, so you’ll be able to recover from sketchy landings and beginners will have fewer falls from catching an edge.
If you are looking to primarily ride freestyle or if you are a beginner who plans to ride park once you learn, the Hero is a great snowboard.

What size snowboard to buy?
Select the snowboard size based on your weight according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If you are between sizes, going with the smaller size can be easier to learn on. Snowboarders can often ride more than one size of the same snowboard.
The Burton Hero comes with the Channel for mounting bindings. The Channel allows the rider to slide the bindings along a center groove for more stance flexibility. You’ve got to have Burton ICS compatible bindings (or ICS binding discs) to work with the Channel.
