Never Summer Infinity: Best Women’s Snowboards
The Never Summer Infinity is a more freestyle-focused all-mountain women’s snowboard. It’s perfect if you want to spend half your day in the terrain park and the other half cruising the mountain. It’s forgiving and fairly stable, but not really meant for hardcore, aggressive carving (you should consider the Burton Fortress for that sort of thing). If you take a few park runs but primarily carve and freeride, something like the Rome Vinyl could be better.
This is a snowboard I have yet to ride, but reviews sound great. It was selected by Shayboarder as one of her top picks for 2012 — and this lady rides A LOT of snowboards.
The Never Summer Infinity is a good choice if you are looking for a more playful, freestyle snowboard that can still ride groomers, steeps and some powder. It’s meant for intermediate riders, but should be forgiving enough for beginners too.
What size snowboard to buy?
Select the snowboard size based on your weight according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If you are between sizes, going with the smaller size can be easier to learn on. Snowboarders can often ride more than one size of the same snowboard.
