Never Summer Heritage: Best Men’s Snowboards
The Never Summer Heritage is an all-mountain snowboard meant to charge the whole mountain. That means it handles groomers, crud, slush, ice and a bit of powder too. The snowboard is best for more aggressive riders looking to primarily freeride and maybe hit some jumps.
This snowboard is similar to the Burton Custom X and it has been well-reviewed by multiple snowboarders, like AngrySnowboarder.com. Though I haven’t ridden it personally, it sounds like a quality snowboard for free-riding. Based on reviews, edge-hold and stability are top notch on this snowboard so you can plow through just about any snow condition.
Who should buy this board? Someone who wants to go fast, charge the mountain and stay off rails and funboxes. Being a beefier board, this is not really for a beginner, you should be a solid intermediate before you buy this snowboard. More freestyle-inclined riders should consider something more like the Burton Custom (Flying V). Beginners should go with a kinder, gentler snowboard.
Never Summer Snowboards are known for being quality (proof in their 2 year warranty).
What size snowboard to buy?
Select the snowboard size based on your weight according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If you are between sizes, going with the smaller size can be easier to learn on. Snowboarders can often ride more than one size of the same snowboard.
