K2 Turbo Dream: Best Men’s Snowboards
The K2 Turbo Dream is a solid all-mountain snowboard. It’s a great option if you want to ride groomers, powder and the occasional jump. It’s a do-it-all snowboard that has some rocker to it and isn’t crazy expensive.
The K2 Turbo Dream is meant for intermediate riders who want a bit or powder, free-riding and a little park (would be fine for advanced beginners too). It’s on the stiffer side and has some rocker. It’s got a slightly more powder and carving focus, so freestyle riders should consider other options. It sounds like this snowboard turns quickly and absorbs bumps and chatter, but really agressive carvers might not get quite the aggression at high speeds and could upgrade to something like the Burton Custom X or Never Summer Heritage.
I have not been able to try this snowboard, but reivews by riders like Angry Snowboarder have been really good.
What size snowboard to buy?
Select the snowboard size based on your weight according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. If you are between sizes, going with the smaller size can be easier to learn on. Snowboarders can often ride more than one size of the same snowboard.
